My name is Alison Conn and I founded Wajah Consulting in 2024 to help ambitious businesses close the gap between strategy and real-world execution. I love solving tough problems and building the conditions for people to do their best work.
What sets me apart is the ability to hold three things in tension simultaneously - high-level strategy, commercial outcomes, and operational execution - and keep them aligned as a business scales.
I bring over 25 years of experience across scaled corporates, scaleups, and startups. My career spans senior strategic, commercial, and operational roles at Vamp, SEEK, Medibank, Diageo, and Visy Industries, alongside a decade at The Boston Consulting Group — including five years in New York City.
I am a member of the Faculty of Business and Economics Advisory Board at the University of Melbourne, and Co-Chair of the Melbourne Foundation for Business and Economics Dinner Committee. I previously served on The Nappy Collective Board.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne, and an MBA (Honours) from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
